SOCOM units started starting to field SCAR-Hs in addition to existing crew serve weapon systems and units with existing SCAR-Ls can store all variants of the SCAR in Combat Weapon Storage Systems™. Combat High Density Weapon Racks are available to store SCARs in single or double tier configurations with individual barrel saddles, giving armories the ability to adjust to future incoming SCARs and different barrel heights or other weapons requiring secure weapon storage.

MK16 SCAR-L & MK-17 SCAR-Hs in Combat Weapon Storage Systems™ can be stored with optics attached to the weapon with no additional weapon rack accessories needed.
